Injury Report: Golden State Warriors vs Charlotte Hornets

The Warriors are on the second night of a back-to-back.

Fresh off of a statement win against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Golden State Warriors have to immediately take on the Charlotte Hornets in a back-to-back.

The Warriors have two players listed on their injury report: Chris Paul and Gary Payton II. Chris Paul is out due to a left-hand fracture, and Gary Payton II is probable due to a general illness. One thing to note is that Chris Paul is expected to return soon during the Warriors' upcoming four-game road trip. Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green will all be playing in the back-to-back.

The Charlotte Hornets have seven players listed on their injury report: LaMelo Ball, Amari Bailey, Davis Bertans, Leaky Black, Nathan Mensah, Nick Smith Jr., and Mark Williams.

LaMelo Ball is out due to right ankle tendinopathy, Amari Bailey is out due to a G League two-way, Davis Bertans is doubtful due to a left knee hyperextension, Leaky Black is out due to a G League two-way, Nathan Mensah is out due to a G League two-way, Nick Smith Jr. is out due to a G League assignment, and Mark Williams is out due to a lower back injury recovery.

If the Golden State Warriors can pull out a win tonight, they'll be tied for the 9th seed with the Los Angeles Lakers. They're still four games away from securing the 6th seed, but this would be a great start.

The Golden State Warriors and Charlotte Hornets face off at 10:00 p.m. EST tonight
