Lakers vs Warriors Injury Report Revealed

Some key names will be missing in tonight's preseason game.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors face off in their very first preseason game tonight, but some key players will be missing from both sides. Regardless, it's still going to be a very fun game.

From the Lakers' side, LeBron James won't be playing and Austin Reaves won't be playing. They're both out for rest purposes.

For the Warriors, Rodney McGruder will miss the game due to concussion protocol, Cory Joseph will miss the game due to a lower back lumbar strain, and Draymond Green will miss the game due to a left ankle sprain. The situation is more concerning for the Warriors due to the fact that all three of their missing players are actually injured and will need to be re-evaluated in the future.

Even though LeBron James and Draymond Green aren't playing tonight, Steph Curry and Anthony Davis are playing. They'll likely not be playing the entire game, but they'll both certainly be playing in the first quarter, which should be highly entertaining.

Anytime the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers face off there's always some level of hype in the air. Whether it's preseason, regular season, or the playoffs, there's always an extra level of engagement between the fans that makes things more fun. Even though LeBron James won't be facing off against Steph Curry tonight, today's game should still be a fun one in the beginning.

The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers tipoff tonight at 5:30 pm PT.
