LeBron James' Injury Status for Lakers vs Warriors Game 2 Revealed

LeBron James will very likely play.

LeBron James is listed on the Lakers' injury report, but fans should very much expect him to play today.

The Los Angeles Lakers have officially listed LeBron James as probable with right foot soreness, but it should be a given that he won't miss the game today.

If there's someone that's overdue for a big shooting game in this series it's been LeBron James. Despite the Lakers having a 1-0 lead against the Warriors and defeating the Grizzlies in six games, LeBron James hasn't been playing at his usual playoff level. He's averaging 22 points on 47/18/69 shooting. You read that correctly, LeBron James is shooting 18.4% from three-point range in the playoffs.

It's a true testament to how deep the Lakers are this season that they're able to survive a mediocre LeBron James in the playoffs. They've had numerous leading scorers in every game, ranging from LeBron to Anthony Davis to D'Angelo Russell to Rui Hachimura.

While it's only Game 2 for the Golden State Warriors, this is as must-win as it can get for the team. They absolutely do not want to go down 0-2 before going onto the road against LA. There are some serious adjustments that the Warriors are going to need to make, as well as better shooting from both Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.

The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers face off at 9:00 pm ET.
