LeBron James' Injury Status for Lakers vs Warriors Game 3 Revealed

The Lakers are going to need a big game from LeBron.

After losing Game 1, the Golden State Warriors absolutely handled the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 2. LeBron James started the game hot, but absolutely nothing mattered in the second half. If the Lakers want a chance at surviving in Game 3, they'll need the same type of start from LeBron James.

The Los Angeles Lakers have officially listed LeBron James as probable for Game 3 with right foot soreness. As always, fans should expect him to play, considering the Lakers have listed him as probable all series.

In Game 2, LeBron James put up 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists on 56% from the field and 38% from deep. After struggling all playoffs, LeBron finally had a decent shooting night from three last game. When including Game 2, LeBron James is only shooting 21% from deep in 8 playoff games. He's only shooting 32% in the regular season, but his playoff number is still a major dropoff. Fans should expect to have a consistent string of good shooting games to break out of it at some point, but it's never really happening.

Despite the poor shooting from LeBron, the Lakers have found ways to succeed in the NBA Playoffs. They defeated the Memphis Grizzlies in six games, and are currently tied with the Warriors 1-1. It's imperative that the Warriors make sure LeBron James doesn't come out hot in Game 3.
