LeBron James Makes History in Game 3 vs. Warriors

LeBron made history in Game 3 between the Lakers and Warriors

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is always climbing up statistical ranks, and hit another milestone in Game 3 vs. the Golden State Warriors. Pulling down 8 rebounds, James moved into 5th place all-time in playoff rebounds. Passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar with his 2,482nd career playoff rebound, James now trails only Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Tim Duncan, and Shaquille O'Neal in that category.

James was fantastic in this game, finishing with 21 PTS, 8 REB, and 8 AST in 32 minutes. The Lakers picked up a huge Game 3 victory, taking a 2-1 series lead. James and Anthony Davis were both much better in this game than they were in Game 2, and they also got major contributions from D'Angelo Russell, who set the tone early and finished with 21 points himself.

The Lakers will now look to take a commanding 3-1 lead in Game 4 before heading back to Golden State for Game 5. The Warriors will be playing with a lot of desperation in Game 4, as they understand they cannot afford to go down 3-1 to this Lakers team.

Through three games this series, there has already been two blowouts. The Warriors took care of business in Game 2, and the Lakers responded with a blowout victory of their own in Game 3. With LeBron James making some NBA history in the process, the Lakers feel good about this one.
