Major Injury Update on Anthony Davis Revealed

Anthony Davis suffered a head injury during Warriors vs. Lakers Game 5

Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis suffered a head injury during Wednesday night's Game 5 matchup against the Golden State Warriors. Davis caught an elbow from Warriors big man Kevon Looney that sent him back to the locker room, and it was first reported by Chris Haynes of NBA on TNT that Davis would not return.

The severity of this injury is currently unknown, but anything head related is always concerning. During the broadcast, Chris Haynes revealed a major update, saying that Davis was escorted away on a wheel chair, and did not look good. Haynes also reported that same major news on Twitter.

The Warriors were able to secure a Game 5 victory in order to force a Game 6 in Los Angeles, and the story will now be the status of Anthony Davis. As previously mentioned, anything head related is always concerning, especially with some of the concerning details reported by Haynes.

Game 6 will be played on Friday night in Los Angeles, and updates on the status of Davis will likely be frequent in between now and then. The star big man has been crucial to LA's success in this series, and they certainly cannot afford to be without him as they attempt to close the Warriors out in Game 6.

With the concerning nature of Haynes' report, it was very encouraging that Lakers head coach Darvin Ham revealed another significant update after the game, saying he saw Davis in the locker room, and the star big man seems to be doing well.

This will certainly be a story to follow, but as of right now there have been updates from Chris Haynes and Darvin Ham.
