Jordan Poole's last year with the Golden State Warriors may have been incredibly tumultuous, but that doesn't mean all of his former teammates dislike him. Poole faces off against the Golden State Warriors for the first time in his career tonight, and Steph Curry made sure to show there were no hard feelings.
Before the game, Steph Curry made sure to embrace Poole in what was a very wholesome moment between the two.
It wasn't just Steph that was embracing Jordan Poole either, multiple members of the Warriors roster did, including Gary Payton II.
NBA fans can feel however they want about Jordan Poole's current tenure on the Wizards, but Warriors fans should always remember him as a pivotal piece in winning the 2021-22 NBA Championship. Make no mistake, without Jordan Poole, the Golden State Warriors do not win the NBA Championship. There's a reason why the Warriors signed Jordan Poole to a four-year, $128 million contract. It was the value that the Warriors thought he brought to the team.
It would have been really interesting to see interactions between Poole and his former teammates if Draymond Green were available tonight. Draymond is out due to an indefinite suspension and will be unavailable during the game against Jordan Poole and the Washington Wizards. A suspension that in retrospect shows that maybe Poole really wasn't in the wrong at all.
