Steph Curry Gives Honest Answer About Warriors' Horrible Road Record

The Golden State Warriors are absolutely awful on the road.

One of the most confusing things about this NBA season is how absolutely awful the Golden State Warriors are on the road this season. The team is 27-7 at home, but 7-24 on the road. Their most recent loss was against the Los Angeles Lakers, in what was the return of Steph Curry.

Curry gave a very brutally honest answer about the team's woes on the road after the loss.

"Our road splits have been trash all year, in all categories," Steph Curry said. "Just trying to correct that as much as possible is our challenge. First quarter, we were down 20, to fight our way back shows how much it matters to us, to try and get over the hump. Over the road, we just have to have a better start."

The Warriors have already made history this season as one of the worst defending champion road teams of all time. Their road record this season is so alarming, it creates the question of what will happen in the playoffs. If this team doesn't have home court in any round, are they going to immediately drop every single road game?

The Golden State Warriors have 10 road games left, and 7 home games left this season, including a five-game road trip. If this team doesn't figure out a way to play better on the road soon, they could potentially find themselves in the play-in tournament.
