Steph Curry Reacts to Game 5 Win Over Lakers

Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry led his team to a Game 5 victory over the Lakers

The Golden State Warriors forced a Game 6 on Wednesday night, defeating the Los Angeles Lakers at home. The series will now shift to Los Angeles, where the Warriors will look to force a Game 7 back home.

Speaking with the NBA on TNT crew following the win, Warriors star Steph Curry said, "It's just a matter of taking stock of what happened in Game 3 and 4, and honestly I think the pressure is on them [in Game 6] to protect their home floor. We had the pressure tonight to keep ourselves alive with our back against the wall, and now it shifts. I think we can play better. Obviously I haven't shot the ball well from three, Klay is hit or miss, so I feel like we can take another step and give ourselves a great opportunity. That's the beauty of the playoffs, every game is kind of a narrative of its own, and that's what you love about it."

If Curry and the Warriors can take Game 6 in Los Angeles, Game 7 would be in Chase Center, where Golden State has been dominant all season. It will be no easy task, as the Lakers are also dominant on their home floor, but the Warriors are up for the challenge.

As Curry said after Game 5, the Warriors still have room for improvement.
