Steve Kerr Calls Out Lakers For Flopping in Game 4

Steve Kerr wasn't happy with the Lakers' theatrics.

The playoff series between the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns has had a lot of complaining. Whether it's about free throws, officiating, or some kind of on-court antics, it's been a ton of complaining. There was a new thing that the Warriors were unhappy about after Game 4 - flopping.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr voiced his displeasure after the Warriors lost in Game 4 about the Lakers utilizing illegal screens and flopping.

"I think we had three or four illegal screens called, and that was disappointing...The Lakers, they are a team that plays with a lot of gamesmanship, they understand how to generate some calls. I thought they took some flops and were rewarded."

It's a very interesting statement for Steve Kerr to say, especially because the Warriors have been notorious for setting illegal screens in the last decade. Regardless of whatever Steve Kerr found displeasure on the court, the Warriors simply had to be better.

There are no other real excuses for the Golden State Warriors in Game 4. The team had numerous chances to close the game out, had a double-digit lead, took poor shot selection down the stretch, had incredibly unforced turnovers, and forgot to call a timeout to save the game. It was one blunder after another blunder that caused the Warriors to lose Game 4 against the Los Angeles Lakers.
