Warriors Player Takes Shot at LeBron James

Warriors veteran JaMychal Green trolled Lakers star LeBron James

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 5 on Wednesday night to force a Game 6 in Los Angeles. There has been a lot of discussion surrounding free throws, officiating, and flopping in this series, which was headlined by Steve Kerr's comments following Game 4.

"I think we had three or four illegal screens called, and that was disappointing," Kerr said. "The Lakers, they are a team that plays with a lot of gamesmanship, they understand how to generate some calls. I thought they took some flops and were rewarded."

LeBron James was asked about this talking point after Game 5, and said, "I just know that we and our coaching staff and us players, we don't work on flopping. That's not even a part of our game. Our game is to attack, attack the paint. We don't mind physical contact, and we don't shy away from it. [We're] just not a team that goes out there looking for flopping opportunities. It's not us. It's never been."

Warriors veteran JaMychal Green reacted to these comments on Instagram, trolling James with a cap emoji:

At least some on the Warriors clearly feel as if the Lakers have been flopping during this series, and getting away with it. The free throw disparity has been a story, and both sides continue to share responses about it.
