Another week of regular season football is just about in the books. By now, most of us already know if we have won or lost our fantasy football matchup. That means it is time to start considering which players you should replace.

Maybe that "one player" that is just sitting on your bench that you're not quite sure about. You're waiting for him to have a breakout game for trade value or start him, but that can sometimes be a waste.

Rather than wait on potential, you are better off picking up 49ers running back Raheem Mostert. Now that is a sentence I thought I would never utter. That's how you know injuries are already trending, but nonetheless. Mostert should at least be someone you consider to target when looking for a pickup.

He should be available in most leagues since no one would have even thought of him as a contributor. Well look no further than what he did yesterday against the Cincinnati Bengals. Mostert ran the ball 13 times for 83 yards and paired that up with three catches for 68 yards and a score.

I'm sure there are plenty of you that could've used that production in your lineups, especially for Christian McCaffrey owners (like me).

Mostert is going to see a lot of snaps which is what every fantasy football owner loves to hear. Volume is king. If Mostert doesn't have an explosive points game like yesterday, then at least you'll know he'll have a sufficient outing. Even with Matt Breida splitting carries with him, Mostert is still a solid pickup because of his receiving ability.

With Tevin Coleman out for the next four weeks, Mostert basically takes on the role of Coleman. Even if you don't trust him in your starting lineup, someone else might. Picking him up as trade bait or a kicker to finalize a trade is free money.

You always have to think ahead when it comes to fantasy football. I guess we aren't so different from NFL head coaches after all (just kidding). All in all in, I highly recommend adding Raheem Mostert to your fantasy football team.
