Joe Burrow: ‘Confident’ Bengals Can Keep Weapons Around Him

Burrow discussed his future with ESPN’s NFL Live.

CINCINNATI — Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow isn’t worried about keeping important teammates after he inks an extension.

Burrow joined ESPN’s NFL Live and dove into the topic the chances Tee Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase stick around.

However, he had “nothing for” host Field Yates when it came when the deal will get done.

“Our front office has done a great job of that the past couple years of putting us in the best position to succeed the way that we have,” Burrow said. “So we’ll see where it goes but I’m confident that we’ll be able to keep everybody.”

Burrow is the final QB domino to fall during this window after Chargers passer Justin Herbert inked a five-year, $262.5 million contract extension on Tuesday.

He is now the league’s highest-paid player after Jalen Hurts and Lamar Jackson each held that title for a short time this offseason.
