Potential Bengals Draft Target Brock Bowers Receives Big Praise From NFL Expert

Bowers is considered the top tight end in this year's class by a significant margin.

CINCINNATI — Will Brock Bowers fall to the Bengals in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft? If he does, will the Bengals take him?

The former Georgia star received huge praise from NFL Films expert Greg Cosell. He praised Bowers' route running, explosiveness, his ability to get yards after the catch and his versatility.

The only "weakness" was his run blocking, but even that is better than a lot of the premiere tight end prospects that aren't viewed as elite blockers.

"There were questions re: ability to run block as attached tight end but effort was there, and that is the starting point," Cosell wrote.

Overall, there were nine strengths listed and just one weakness.

"Bowers is one of the best prospects in the draft," Cosell wrote. "He has high-level playmaking ability and the versatility to line up in multiple locations within the formation, including being featured as a motion receiver."

The Bengals are a pass-first team. Adding a weapon like Bowers with the No. 18 pick would be a no-brainer. Check out Cosell's entire scouting report below:
