Zac Taylor Shares Positive Health Update on Bengals' Star Quarterback Joe Burrow

The 27-year-old underwent wrist surgery in November.

CINCINNATI — Bengals head coach Zac Taylor shared the latest on Joe Burrow's recovery from wrist surgery at the NFL owners meetings on Monday morning.

“It’s positive. It’s right on schedule," Taylor told reporters. "We’re encouraged with everything we thought it was going to be and where he’s going to fit into our offseason.”

Taylor has declined to give any sort of timeline for Burrow's recovery, but the 27-year-old is expected to resume throwing in May. He's hoping to participate in the Bengals' offseason program.

Burrow missed the final seven games of the season after suffering a wrist injury against the Ravens on Thursday Night Football. Cincinnati failed to reach the playoffs for the first time since his rookie season.

Burrow has completed 68% of his passes for 14,083 yards, 97 touchdowns and 37 interceptions in 52 regular season games.
