The Bills were certainly tested when they welcomed the one-win Washington Redskins to town. A high scoring first half was stymied by a slow third quarter before Buffalo was able to pull off a win with a Devin Singletary touchdown late in the fourth quarter.

Buffalo improves their AFC wildcard best record to 6-2 and will travel to Cleveland next week - but, before that let's look at some of the best quotes the Bills had following the win.

Running Back Devin Singletary on his best game of his career thus far:

"It was kind of the same approach. Just stay ready, be ready. Whenever your number is called, be ready to make a play."

Quarterback Josh Allen on the Bills 6-2 record at the halfway point of the season:

"I feel good being 6-2. Obviously, there still are things that we need to learn from and grow from and I think today we did a good job of establishing the run game and going out there, our O-line did a great job doing that early. There's still times where I myself have to make sure I'm still pushing our guys and make sure that we're still striving to be the best that we can be and so I mean after, at the end of the day we're 6-2 and it feels good, but I think everybody's got the same mindset right now that we're still hungry, we still want to grow, we still want to learn, to try to be the best team we can."

Head Coach Sean McDermott on the Bills slow third quarter:

"Well, we came out, I thought we had a good drive after half and it ended believe on a fourth and one situation there. So we moved the ball. It's, now we have to come away, we have to finish the drive and finish in those short yardage situations and one-to-go situations"

Wide Receiver Cole Beasley on his third touchdown in three games:

"Had some good play calls by [Brian Daboll] and Josh [Allen] has been able to find me. It could have been anybody else in that situation, but that play was actually meant for me, unlike the one last week, so I was glad he called it. There’s nothing really crazy to that, it’s just how it’s worked out the past couple of weeks.
