Buffalo Bills' Von Miller Roster Move Off PUP Official; Active vs. Jaguars in London?

Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller should make his return on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London as he's been moved off PUP and onto the roster.

An already strong Buffalo Bills defense might've just gotten even better in Week 5.

Bills outside linebacker Von Miller should make his return on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London after beginning the season on the PUP list which led him to miss the first four games of the season. Miller made the flight with the team across the pond on Thursday night, which gives him a chance to make his season debut. ... which is even closer to reality now with the Bills on Saturday officially moving Miller off PUP and onto the roster.

In his absence, Buffalo is tied for the NFL lead in sacks with 16 and is second in points allowed per game (13.8). The Bills also lead the NFL with 11 takeaways and eight interceptions.

With Miller's inevitable return on the horizon, Bills (3-1) defensive tackle DaQuan Jones is excited to see how much better he'll make the defense.

"Future Hall of Famer," Jones said of Miller on One Bills Live. "He's only going to make us better. He's going to open up more opportunities for everybody, and I just can't wait to see what the dynamic is going to be like when he goes out there on the field. We're all in this groove right now of playing really well."

Miller is an eight-time Pro Bowler, three-time All-Pro, two-time Super Bowl champion and was the MVP in Super Bowl 50.

Jones, 31, has played an important role in Buffalo's defense being among the NFL's best. The 10th-year defensive tackle is fourth on the team with 2.5 sacks and is one of five Bills with at least two. Jones also has five quarterback hits and three tackles for loss.

The veteran defensive lineman credits his early success to his comfort in Buffalo's defensive scheme, which he said is the same one he played in when he was in college.

"My job is to go out there and be the most dominant and physical player I can be," Jones said. "I played in a 3-4 my whole career, and that's not my game - it wasn't me. I played a 4-3 in college...In this system, I love it so much. I can go out there and really let my game show."

In Miller's first season with the Bills last season, he played in 11 games and had eight sacks, which led the team. A torn ACL on Thanksgiving against the Detroit Lions cut his season short and caused him to miss the early part of this season, as the team had a cautious approach toward his recovery.

Now with Miller, 34, set to return, one of the best defenses in football could get even better.

Buffalo should get its first 2023 glimpse at Miller on Sunday from London vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars at 9:30 a.m. ET at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
