Bills Working Out with Cole Beasley; Cowboys Ex Comeback?

Former Buffalo Bills receiver Cole Beasley is still working out with his ex-teammates ahead of a workout with an NFL team.

As NFL fans have learned over the years, just because players aren't teammates anymore doesn't mean they can’t be friends. That is the case with current Buffalo Bills' players Gabe Davis and Matt Milano as they are working out with their ex-teammate Cole Beasley in the leadup to the start of training camp at the end of July.

Despite having parted ways with the Bills, Beasley isn't done trying to continue his NFL career. At 34 years old, Beasley still believes he has gas left in the tank, which is why he is still staying in shape for the season.

In fact, during a recent interview with OutKick, Beasley revealed that he even has a workout with a team scheduled to take place in the near future.

“I have a workout on the 21st [of July],” Beasley told OutKick. “I’m not going to say who because I don’t know if they want me to mention that right now. That’s why I’m here. Been preparing for that. And trying to stay ready.”

Last season was a crazy one for Beasley, as he started it with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before announcing his retirement after a few games. Yet, fast forward to December, he was back in the NFL and had signed with the Bills. The 34-year-old slot receiver played in just two games for Buffalo last season, totaling two receptions for 18 yards.

It was a very different ending this time in Buffalo compared to when he left in 2021. In his three prior seasons with the Bills (2019-21), the former Dallas Cowboys standout recorded 2,348 yards and 11 touchdowns on 231 catches, becoming one of Josh Allen's favorite targets in the process.

While it doesn't look likely now that the Bills and Beasley are in for another reunion, anything could happen in the NFL … and we’ll keep our eyes on this one.
