Tom Brady Selects Which NFL Quarterback Will Win First Super Bowl Next

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady makes a bold prediction on which quarterback will win their first Super Bowl next.

Winning a Super Bowl isn't something foreign to former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback and NFL legend Tom Brady. In 2020, Brady led the Buccaneers to a Super Bowl victory to secure his seventh — six of which came with the New England Patriots.

With Brady having a plethora of experience winning the big game while also being retired, he recentlty weighed in on who the next first-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback will be.

"I like Josh Allen a lot. I'd pick Josh," Brady said on the DeepCut Podcast. "I like Josh a lot as a guy, as a leader. But, you know, he's got to get past the Chiefs, and that's hard, because Patrick's incredible and the way he leads that team."

So far, the Chiefs have created a big road block for Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills, the same team that Brady and the Buccaneers defeated for their title in 2020 in dominating fashion. Still, Allen's talent is undeniable, and they need their big break. They've come close to taking down the Chiefs, the only thing holding them back from a Super Bowl appearance.

Again, Brady understands what it takes to overcome obstacles to make a Super Bowl-winning run. For him to have that level of confidence for Allen to be the next guy to do so for the first time should mean something. He could have listed former MVP Lamar Jackson with his loaded Baltimore Ravens team, or even Joe Burrow and his Cincinnati Bengals team that has already nearly done it — yet he opted for Allen.

During Brady's time with the Patriots, he saw Allen first-hand as former divisional rivals. He's also defeated Mahomes to secured titles of his own. Brady understands the gauntlet Allen is dealing with as he tries to find consistent postseason success.
