Veteran Linebacker Devin White 'Fed Up' With Buccaneers, Requests Trade

Buccaneers' linebacker Devin White is reportedly wanting out in Tampa.

It's been a rather quiet offseason rather than the last couple of years for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but it seems like that is no longer the case heading into the middle of April.

On Tuesday, ESPN's Jenna Laine reported that Devin White has requested a trade and wants out from the team not being happy within the organization. Sources told Laine that White has been dealing with growing frustrations and is "fed up" with the team in Tampa.

There had been some chatter this offseason about the veteran linebacker potentially moving on after White posted cryptic Instagram stories saying thank you to Tampa Bay for his time totaling four years with the team.

The Super Bowl champion, Pro Bowl linebacker, and former first-round pick from LSU is heading into his 5th year in the NFL. Tampa Bay has already picked up his $11.7 million option so it seems both sides aren't in agreement on what the future should hold for White. The Bucs would most certainly like to keep one of their core leaders and defensive players on the team going into 2023 so this will be interesting to watch moving forward between both parties.
