WATCH: Cardinals WR Rondale Moore Dusts Cowboys for TD Rush

Arizona Cardinals WR Rondale Moore showed off his speed with a 45-yard rush in the second quarter against the Dallas Cowboys.

GLENDALE -- Don't look now, but the Arizona Cardinals have a lead over the Dallas Cowboys.

After initially carrying a 9-3 lead into the second quarter, Cardinals WR Rondale Moore received a handoff out of shotgun and turned on the jets for a 45-yard touchdown run.

The Cardinals currently lead the Cowboys 15-3 in the late stages of the first half.

It's the second rushing touchdown of the day for Arizona, who first found the end zone on a five-yard rush from James Conner.

Moore - 23-years-old - was made a second-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and was highly coveted for his speed on the field, which he displayed often at Purdue.

The previous regime under head coach Kliff Kingsbury drew criticism of how Moore was used, as he was mainly featured on jet sweeps and screen passes rather than amplify his strengths vertically.

Arizona now operates under new offensive coordinator Drew Petzing, who has brought a more pro-style/traditional approach to the desert with an emphasis on running the ball (and that apparently includes receivers on occasion).

Heading into Week 3, Moore had just four receptions for 47 yards.
