Cardinals Announce Roster Moves Ahead of Week 4

The Arizona Cardinals have made the following moves.

The following is a press release from the Arizona Cardinals:

"The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has signed defensive lineman Roy Lopez to the active roster from the practice squad.

"In addition, the team has signed linebacker Davion Taylor and defensive lineman Jacob Slade to the practice squad and released cornerback Quavian White from the practice squad. The signings took place today at the Dignity Health Arizona Cardinals Training Center in Tempe, AZ.

"Lopez will wear jersey #98.

"Taylor (6-1, 230) played in 21 games (seven starts) with the Eagles between 2020-21 and had 43 tackles and two forced fumbles on defense and eight tackles on special teams. He originally joined the Eagles as a third-round selection (103rd overall) in the 2020 NFL Draft from Colorado. Taylor spent the 2022 season on the Eagles practice squad and also was with the Bears during the preseason."

The Cardinals previously placed Budda Baker and L.J. Collier on injured reserve last week. Carlos Watkins was ruled out ahead of the team's 28-16 victory over the Dallas Cowboys and LB Zaven Collins left the win early with an apparent eye injury.

Arizona enters this week as massive underdogs to the San Francisco 49ers, who are 3-0 and playing some of the best football in the NFL. The 49ers play host with a few extra days of rest after playing on Thursday Night Football in Week 3.
