All eyes are now fixated on the desert as Murray could potentially return to action.

"That doesn't necessarily mean he's playing this week, just that his knee injury is no longer limiting his practice work. Either way, a great sign," said NFL insider Ian Rapoport on the update.

Murray had his 21-day practice window opened last week and practiced all three days ahead of Week 7 before being ruled out.

Many believe the Cardinals will see Murray work through the entire three-week period before he's required to be elevated to the active roster.

Last week, Rapoport reported the following on Murray's timeline for return:

"Sources say Murray's return is expected to take multiple weeks, with the most likely outcome that he practices for three weeks, then plays on Nov. 12 against the Falcons. There is also a chance he is able to return on Nov. 5 against the Browns if all goes perfectly well on the field and off it."

The Cardinals host the Ravens on Sunday. On Friday, we'll see what injury designation (questionable, doubtful, out) Murray carries heading into Week 8.
