First Look at DeAndre Hopkins in New Uniform

The days of WR DeAndre Hopkins in a Arizona Cardinals uniform are in the past.

For the first time in years, DeAndre Hopkins will not suit up for the Arizona Cardinals. It's a bit of an odd reality considering where the team was at this point last offseason - hopeful they could build off a playoff appearance and perhaps further themselves into the postseason.

Fast-forward to present day, where the Cardinals were forced to hit the rebuild button and start from square one.

That process involved a lot of notable names hitting the exits, which included Hopkins. Despite attempting to trade Hopkins for much of the offseason, Arizona ultimately released the All-Pro receiver in order to fully clear any cap liability of his contract for the 2024 season.

Hopkins spent over a month as a free agent before ultimately landing with the Tennessee Titans, a team who showed great interest from the start.

His reported deal of two-years, $26 million (with opportunity to hit $32 million in total due to incentives) isn't quite the $19.45 million in salary he would have made in Arizona this season, though it was time for both sides to seek a fresh start.

That includes a fresh pair of threads, which Hopkins debuted today after the contract signing became official:

"I am very happy, very glad," Hopkins said via the team's official site. "This was a team that as soon as the offseason hit and I knew I was possibly going to be traded, this was a team that was on my list of places that I wanted to play because of the history Mike Vrabel and I have, the history Tim Kelly and I have.

"I wanted to be somewhere where I knew people had my best interests, not just on the field but off the field as well."

It will be a bit odd to see Hopkins in a Titans uniform.
