Marvin Harrison Jr. Wants to be an Arizona Cardinal

The Arizona Cardinals could draft Marvin Harrison Jr. in just a few weeks' time. He wouldn't mind that.

ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals have quite the amount of options at the top of the 2024 NFL Draft, though there's no mincing who fans want to land in the desert.

Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr. is considered to be one of the top prospects emerging out of the college ranks. It's not often where "generational" fits the billing, though some believe the son of the NFL Hall-of-Famer indeed is worthy.

As of late, we've seen what the presence of a dominant receiver can do for offenses across the league, Justin Jefferson and Ja'Marr Chase being the two best examples.

Kyler Murray wants all the help he can get. Cardinals fans want Harrison playing at State Farm Stadium.

He wants that too.

Cardinals 2023 first-round pick and former Ohio State teammate Paris Johnson Jr. hopped on the Cardinals Corner podcast with Arizona Sports' Tyler Drake and Lauren Koval and was asked about Harrison:

"I feel like the whole world knows he's the best receiver in the draft. It's funny because right when I got drafted I literally went to Marvin and was like, 'Dude, you know you're a Cardinal right?' I knew he was going to be a Cardinal because something happened with D-Hop. I'm like, the Cardinals are probably going to want another 6-4 receiver," said Johnson.

"I was like, 'Dude, I have a feeling you'll probably be a Cardinal.' So I've always said that but I think everybody knows [how I feel], I try not to get into what goes on upstairs, I just let them do what they do."

When Drake asked Johnson what Harrison's reaction was to being called a Cardinal already?

"He said he wanted to be a Cardinal. ... He said he wanted to be a Cardinal."

So nice, Johnson said it twice.
