Seahawks Lose TE Noah Fant vs Cardinals

Seattle Seahawks tight end Noah Fant will not return to action against the Arizona Cardinals.

ARIZONA -- The Seattle Seahawks have seen a number of players hit the blue medical tent early here in Week 18's battle against the Arizona Cardinals - though they've now lost tight end Noah Fant with a hand injury.

Fant initially left action in the first quarter and was ruled questionable. He was spotted heading to the locker room before eventually coming back out before the start of the second quarter.

He's now been downgraded to out, putting him out of action the rest of the way.

Fant was not targeted by Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith before leaving.

Fant was acquired in the massive Russell Wilson trade from the Denver Broncos and has played fairly well for Seattle since arriving.

This season, he has played 16 games with 32 receptions and 414 yards with no touchdowns.

His tight end counterpart Will Dissly caught the game's lone touchdown in Arizona thus far. Dissly has caught two targets for a total of 40 yards.

Seattle needs a win and a Green Bay Packers loss to get into the postseason. They previously defeated Arizona in their first meeting earlier this season.

Other such as Julian Love (hand) and Jordyn Brooks (ankle) are hurt and questionable to return.
