Podcast: What's Cardinals Biggest Offseason Need?

The Arizona Cardinals want to improve their roster from top to bottom - here's their biggest need.

ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals attack the 2024 NFL offseason with a wide array of needs and holes on the roster to fill.

Thankfully, head coach Jonathan Gannon and staff have already solidified the quarterback position for next year after Kyler Murray's successful return from ACL surgery.

Other position groups such as tight end, running back and safety are easily settled for next season, too.

Yet a 4-13 football team arrives to the offseason with obvious needs - which ones are the biggest?

On the latest episode of the All Cardinals Podcast, we went through four position groups Arizona absolutely needs to upgrade:

We started with an obvious position of need at wide receiver - regardless of Marquise Brown's status in free agency, the Cardinals need a legitimate playmaker added to the arsenal.

While the Cardinals have the right side of the line figured out, positions such as left tackle (assuming Paris Johnson stays at right tackle) and left guard still need permanent solutions - especially if D.J. Humphries is cut.

The secondary desperately needs a solidified starter, and the state of the position was evident after Marco Wilson was cut during the season. Though the trio of rookies in Garrett Williams, Kei'Trel Clark and Starling Thomas flashed promise, a big signing in free agency could work wonders for the defense.

There's one more position group (well, technically two in the DL/EDGE category) where any outside additions could have a chance at starting upon arrival.
