Chargers Sign Former Ravens RB Standout J.K. Dobbins

The Los Angeles Chargers have added another former Baltimore Raven to their backfield.

ESPN's NFL insider Adam Schefter shares via X that the Chargers have signed running back J.K. Dobbins

The running back plans to sign a one-year deal with the Bolts.

The 25-year-old will don a new jersey after spending the first four years of his career with the Ravens. It's been a difficult road for the former Ohio State Buckeye. Not once, but twice, he's suffered through a significant injury. During his second year in the league, he suffered a torn ACL in the final presents game. In his third season, he returned as the full-time starter; however, another knee injury derailed him in the 2022 season. And in 2023, he suffered a torn Achilles tendon.

Injuries have been a struggle for Dobbins, but he hopes that all changes in Los Angeles.

In his career, Dobbins has rushed for 1347 yards on 234 carries, 12 touchdowns, and an average of 5.8 yards per carry. Dobbisn will join his former Ravens teammate, Gus Edwards, in the Bolt backfield. Yet another Raven has found his way onto the Chargers roster. It's not surprising when you consider general manager Joe Hortiz's ties to the organization.

Welcome to LA, JK!
