Chargers Injury Report: 2 LA Pro Bowlers Unlikely To Play Last Game Of Year

Chargers could be without two key players this Sunday.

As the Los Angeles Chargers prepare for their last game of the season this Sunday at home against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Chargers will likely be without two players who were announced as potential Pro Bowlers.

According to Daniel Popper of The Athletic, it appears that both Keenan Allen and Joey Bosa will be unlikely to play in Sunday's game.

Both Allen and Bosa have remained dominant at their positions for the Chargers this season.

Allen was arguably quarterback Justin Herbert's favorite target this season as he had 1,243 yards for seven touchdowns and 108 receptions while Bosa has 14 tackles with 6.5 sacks and one forced fumble in just nine games played this year after missing most of the last month of the year due to a foot injury, thus being placed in the Chargers IR.

While Allen is an official Pro Bowler this year, Bosa is currently listed as an alternate.

Throughout his career, Bosa has reached the Pro Bowl four times and will likely find his way in once players announce that they will be withdrawing from participating in the Pro Bowl events.

Allen will be headed to his sixth Pro Bowl, it will also be his first since 2021 after not being named to last year's roster.
