Chargers News: Jim Harbaugh, Greg Roman Show Off RVs From Huntington Beach Adventure

New Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh and his new offensive coordinator Greg Roman are hoping to make a splash with their new program, which feels incredibly incomplete on offense around star quarterback Justin Herbert heading into this month's draft.

The duo began their Bolts tenure in style: roughing it in luxury RVs on Huntington Beach. LA's video team captured Harbaugh, most recently the CFP national championship-winning head coach of the Michigan Wolverines, and Roman, formerly with the Baltimore Ravens as their OC from 2019-22, hanging out. Harbaugh has since moved into his new house, while Roman will follow suit soon.

"This is my Quantum Thor Motor Coach," Harbaugh revealed while touring the video team around his vehicle." Kinda inspired by growing up watching 'The Rockford Files.'" On that show, James Garner's ex-con-turned-PI lived in an RV on a California beach, too.

"Now, G-Ro, this is a Class-C here. It's like what the rock bands go around in right here," Harbaugh noted as he showed off Roman's ride.

"I mean for one person, this beats any hotel room in America," Roman said.

"You took the words right out of my mouth," Harbaugh responded. "I asked my brother-in-law John Feuerborn to drive this coach out, which he did."

"Your RV, my RV, this has been a help to winning, to working," Harbaugh said to Roman.

"No question," Roman said. "Winning in football, is there anything like it?"

"You and I have won some games in California so it'll be good to keep that tradition going, huh?" Roman said, as they clinked drinks.
