Betting Odds Show Favorites Emerging for Colts' First-Round Draft Pick

The oddsmakers have some clear favorites when it comes to who the Indianapolis Colts will select with the 15th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Last year, the only thing that mattered in the draft for the Indianapolis Colts was taking a quarterback with their first pick. With that mission accomplished, things are different for the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft, with many debating among a few different positions that the team could select with their first pick.

Do the Colts look to add an explosive element to their passing game? What about a cornerback who eliminates a whole part of the field?

Whatever the Colts decide to do, the oddsmakers are already forming their own opinions, giving a handful of players the best odds of becoming Colts with the 15th overall pick in the draft. Bookies.com oddsmaker Adam Thompson has developed his personal hypothetical odds:

• Terrion Arnold, Cornerback, Alabama | +325 (23.5%)
• Brock Bowers, Tight End, Georgia | +350 (22.2%)
• Brian Thomas Jr., Wide Receiver, LSU | +650 (13.3%)
• Kool-Aid McKinstry, Cornerback, Alabama | +700 (12.5%)
• The Field | +400 (20%)

Mitchell and Arnold have been clear favorites in mock drafts around the web for a couple of months now as potential shutdown corners. Bowers seems to be the fan-favorite choice as the potential second coming of Colts legend Dallas Clark. Thomas also addresses a big need in the passing game and has become a favorite option for us here at Horseshoe Huddle. McKinstry is a solid trade-back option.
