Derrius Guice is Every Redskins Fan, Asks: 'Why didn't he run in?'

Everyone was asking the same thing when Washington's QB didn't take an opportunity.

Case Keenum is still somehow entrenched as the starting quarterback of the Washington Redskins. He has a propensity to miss wide open receivers and deliver passes with little zip. He also coughed up the football in the first quarter negating an early forced turnover.

After a questionable pass interference call gave Washington the ball at the goal line, the Redskins found themselves in third and goal. Out of a shotgun snap, Keenum seemed to have a chance to run the ball into the end zone, but he didn't.

Instead, he delivered a five-yard bullet pass to the feet of Trey Quinn, who wasn't able to haul it in. The play wouldn't have counted as their was a hold from right guard Brandon Scherff, but the alley to a touchdown seemed right there for Keenum, only he didn't take it.

Fans everywhere wondered why not. As did injured running back Derrius Guice, who was left behind on injured reserve and isn't with the team.

The third-and-long play failed and Washington had to settle for a short field goal by Dustin Hopkins to tie the score at 3 in the second quarter.
