Yes, the Dallas Cowboys need a center and a left tackle and a running back and a Dak Prescott contract and an ... everything?

With several holes to fil on offense, the possibilities are - unfortunately - limitless. Tyron Smith is gone. Ezekiel Elliott may be coming back. And, in the wake of cutting disappointing Michael Gallup, the Cowboys are also in the market for a new receiving weapon.

They would benefit from the old days of the 12-round NFL Draft. Alas, with only seven rounds they must wisely utilize their existing picks in next month's draft. And in a new mock draft by NFL.com, they do more than that.

In its latest mock released this week, NFL.com predicts the Cowboys will make a trade up from No. 24 to indeed boost their depleted offense. The projected trade is with the Los Angeles Rams, with Dallas moving up to No. 19 to draft LSU receiver Brian Thomas Jr.

Writes NFL.com: "The Cowboys don't have a ton of extra picks laying around, but I could see them being aggressive with Thomas surprisingly still on the board at this juncture. Dallas really needs to add pass-catching threats and might have to trade up to ensure landing one like this LSU product. He's an explosive talent who can help shield CeeDee Lamb from seeing so many tricked-up coverages."

Adding Thomas Jr. would certainly give Prescott another weapon to complement CeeDee Lamb and Brandin Cooks. Now, about that offensive line?
