FRISCO - Hey, we're not endorsing the idea; we're just addressing it: If the Dallas Cowboys have a reason to be "desperate'' to join "The Do-Something Club'' as a way to pull not only Cowboys Nation but also Jerry Jones' employees here inside The Star out of a funk ...

Odell Beckham Jr., anybody?

It was just over a year ago that Jerrry and the Cowboys put the full-court press on OBJ before discovering upon his late 2022-season visit to Dallas that his knee wasn't yet right. Last spring he signed with the Baltimore Ravens, and was helpful enough, totaling. ...

The Fish Report and the Fish Podcast discuss the idea of Dallas "needing'' to do something in the form of a trade. That's not our usual position ... but it can be argued that this is an unusual time for the Cowboys, who are being stripped of talent via free agency and who don't seem willing or able to do much about it.

Had Dallas not traded for Brandin Cooks last spring, Jerry might've very well "gone for it'' with Beckham. Does OBJ now fill a "position of need''? Or is the "need'' - created in part by the dark cloud of this week's goodbyes to Tyron Smith and to Leighton Vander Esch - just any sort of positive momentum? Join us, Cowboys Nation, as we discuss!
