There was an initial report out of Tampa Bay - where Bucs QB Baker Mayfield has been named as the sub for Dak - that Prescott’s reason for backing out is injury-related.
We believe that report to be false. There is no “injury” to report here.
More likely, as the present rational is labeled as “personal reasons”: Prescott and girlfriend Sarah Jane Ramos are expecting their first child soon, and the MVP-candidate is planning for something more important than playing beach volleyball or tug of war or whatever.
