'Biggest Catch!' Patriots at Dallas Cowboys: Bill Belichick on Travis Kelce & Taylor Swift Relationship

New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick, a self-proclaimed Taylor Swift fan, is prepping to play the Dallas Cowboys but also reveals his thoughts on pop superstar Taylor Swift's new relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

FRISCO - New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick is a "serious person'' who at 71 years old is known for a grumbly demeanor and a focus on the task at hand, which this week is about a visit in Week 4 to play the Dallas Cowboys.

But Belichick is also sort of a "Swiftie,'' or is at least an admirer of pop star Taylor Swift ... who, as you may have noticed, is newly "involved'' with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

“Well, I would say that Travis Kelce’s had a lot of big catches in his career,” Belichick said on Boston radio this week, oddly happy to open up about the big news. “This would be the biggest (catch).”

That qualifies as a "quip'' from the usually-taciturn coach, who during the offseason attended a Swift concert, watching her perform in a rainstorm.

“That was pretty impressive,” Belichick said then. "She is tough, man. She just stood out there and played right through ...''

In Week 3, Swift attend the Chiefs' 41-10 blowout win over the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium, as she was in Kelce's suite alongside his mother. Belichick wasn't alone in noticing, as Cowboys star Micah Parsons reacted by advising fellow NFL stars to "shoot your shot'' - meaning that athletes should try to date starlets. ... Which, by the way, Micah, is not really a new thing.

Belichick knows this; Patriots QB legend Tom Brady and his relationship with Gisele was headline-making. The Cowboys know this as well, with Tony Romo having romanced Jessica Simpson and Carrie Underwood and others.

The Swift-Kelce story isn't going away. But by Sunday, at AT&T Stadium? We predict that Belichick is focused on fixing his 1-2 Patriots ... and that the 2-1 Cowboys have the same mindset.
