FRISCO - The Dallas Cowboys injury report features what the team hopes are a few minor issues. This Sunday night's foe, the Minnesota Vikings, have a more serious issue.

Standout receiver Adam Thielen’s right hamstring injury is not considered “long-term” by Vikings coach Mike Zimmer. But his re-injury last week surely contributed to the Vikes' 26-23 loss to the Chiefs. And if Thielen is unavailable in Dallas?

His absence figures to play a role there, too.

Thielen sat out Week 8 but then managed to play in just seven snaps against Kansas City. The Vikings have lots of other weapons to pick up some of the slack for a missing All-Pro wideout, including receiver Stefon Diggs and running back Dalvin Cook. But in a showdown between two clubs with big-time playoff aspirations (Minny is 6-3, Dallas 5-3) every healthy body helps.

That goes for the Cowboys, too. who list Amari Cooper among the names on Thursday's list, though most of the Dallas guys are expected to play Sunday night.
