This being Cam Smith, who was drafted in the second round since the Dolphins did not have a first round selection. Per ESPN, Smith is the 11th best cornerback in the class, and was given a grade of 74. He has been projected to be one of the more reliable corners in the 2023 class.
The Dolphins finished last season with the 27th passing defense, so while they have both Jalen Ramsey and Xavier Howard on their roster, Smith should be able to make an immediate impact in an effort to improve their secondary.
