Despite some tough penalties, the Dolphins are playing a clean brand of football. After a rough outing against Baltimore in which the Dolphins had nine penalties, Miami is becoming a disciplined brand of football.

Averaging just 5.7 penalties per game, the Dolphins are ranked third just behind the Colts and and Panthers.

"I think we’re at the point here where (we’re getting) closer and closer and closer and closer but at the end of the day, the result isn’t what you want, so we’ve got to do a little bit more," Coach Brian Flores said on Monday. "We’ve got to coach it better. We’ve got to play better. We’ve got to execute better. We’ve got to practice every situation with the intent to execute those situations in the game in all areas, because I don’t know which play it’s going to be and they don’t know which play it’s going to be. So we have to practice all of those situations with an intent to execute the way we’re going to try to execute it in the game, and I’ve got to do a better job of getting this team to do that.”
