Eagles vs. Chiefs Rematch Set for Monday Night Football: NFL Schedule Leaks

The league is reportedly putting the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs on center stage next season for their highly-anticipated Super Bowl rematch.

It's not too often that the two teams who played in the Super Bowl one year meet again in the regular season the following year.

So when it became official based on division finishes that the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs would be playing each other again in 2023, the NFL had to take advantage of the opportunity.

Per reports from The Philadelphia Inquirer, the league is putting the Eagles and Chiefs on center stage for their highly-anticipated Super Bowl rematch, as the two sides will meet at Arrowhead for a Week 11 Monday Night Football battle on Monday, Nov. 20.

Unlike a few of other matchups around the league to already be fully revealed, the Eagles, Chiefs and the NFL have not officially announced that this will be the game date, though it appears to be headed that way. The only Monday Night Football game to be officially announced is Buffalo Bills at New York Jets in Week 1 on Sept. 11.

The only Eagles games that are officially on the NFL schedule are Week 13 at home vs. San Francisco 49ers and Week 16 at home vs. New York Giants. It has been leaked that the Eagles will visit the New England Patriots in Foxborough for a Week 1 matchup, but the league and the two teams have not announced this.

The Chiefs will open up their title defense on Thursday, Sept. 7 at Arrowhead against the Detroit Lions.

The complete NFL schedule will be revealed on Thursday evening.
