Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has been incredibly active outside of football this offseason.

In addition to securing a massive five-year contract extension valued at $255 million, he accomplished a notable personal feat by earning a master's degree from the University of Oklahoma.

Hurts also demonstrated his versatility and interests beyond football by exploring the realm of acting in singer-songwriter Teyana Taylor's commercial titled 'A Love Letter to Harlem.' After that, Hurts was again in front of the camera when he helped introduce the U.S. women's team for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.

Expanding upon his accomplishments, Hurts has recently sealed a multi-year agreement with A SHOC Beverages, an energy drink company supported by Keurig Dr. Pepper Inc., according to a report from Bloomberg News.

While the specific financial details were not disclosed, Bloomberg News revealed that Hurts acquired an equity stake in A SHOC to promote the brand through advertisements and events.

Hurts made the announcement on Tuesday regarding his latest venture.

“I’ve been fortunate enough to have equity in a few places, to be part of the brand,” Hurts said. “Prioritizing the health of athletes and consumers, that’s really important to me.”

After his recent ventures, it is only natural to wonder what lies ahead for Hurts as his popularity has soared over the past year. He has become one of the most prominent athletes in the NFL and all of sports. At the age of 24, Hurts possesses all the necessary qualities to venture into the category of sports icon status.
