Last season's breakout campaign for Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts caught the attention of NFL coaches and players throughout the league.

Among those impressed with the talent of Hurts was former Eagles and current Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid. When asked about Hurts during his appearance on "94WIP Middays with Hugh Douglas and Joe Giglio" on Wednesday afternoon, Reid expressed his belief that the signal-caller will provide Philadelphia with an opportunity to win the Super Bowl every season.

"Yeah, he's a good one, boy," Reid said. "I'm happy for Howie [Roseman] and the staff there that they've got him. He's a good kid and he's a heck of a player. The Eagles are in good hands, man. Philadelphia will have an opportunity to win every year with him."

Reid had the opportunity to witness Hurts up close last season when the Chiefs defeated the Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII. Despite the Eagles' devastating defeat, Hurts delivered an exceptional performance in the game. He etched his name in league history as the first player to throw for 300 yards, run for 70 yards, complete 70 percent of his passes, and score three rushing touchdowns in an NFL game.

Additionally, Hurts' three rushing touchdowns matched the Super Bowl record set by Denver Broncos Hall of Fame running back Terrell Davis in the team's Super Bowl XXXII 31-24 victory over the Green Bay Packers.

Hurts and the Eagles will have an opportunity to face Reid and the Chiefs this season, as they are slated for a Week 11 rematch of Super Bowl LVII at Arrowhead Stadium.
