After just one season together, Philadelphia Eagles receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith have arguably become the best duo at their position in the league, sparking debates about their place among the all-time great tandems in NFL history.

According to a recent article by The 33rd Team, which ranked the 11-best receiver duos in NFL history, Brown and Smith secured the 11th spot. The article's reasoning for including Brown and Smith was their exceptional performance last season, as they both ranked among the top ten in numerous statistics.

"Counting the postseason, Brown and Smith were in the NFL Top 10 in targets, receptions, and receiving first downs. Only a handful of receivers had a higher average/reception than Brown," The 33rd Team writes.

After being traded from the Tennessee Titans last season, Brown profoundly impacted Smith's game, propelling him to new heights as the number two receiver for the Eagles. With Brown's presence on the team, Smith flourished, showcasing his talents by hauling in 95 receptions for 1,196 yards and seven touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Brown assumed the role of the number one receiver with sheer brilliance, recording 88 receptions for 1,496 yards and 11 touchdowns. Together, their dynamic partnership elevated the Eagles' offense to Super Bowl LVII, where they suffered a 38-35 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Heading into their second season together, Brown and Smith will again look to lead the Eagles' receiver corps as they set their sights on reaching the Super Bowl for the second consecutive year.
