Ryan Clark Rips Philadelphia Eagles After Dallas Cowboys Loss: 'This Defense is Soft!'

"This defense is soft," Ryan Clark said on Inside The NFL. "They've given up 300 yards after the catch... Tackling is about will, and want to, and you have to want to get guys on the ground, much like what the Dallas Cowboys did to the Philadelphia Eagles."

The Philadelphia Eagles' defense has taken a hit or two as of late.

The Eagles have allowed 30 or more points in each of their last three games, including 33 in a loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.

Not only are they taking hits on the field, but also from members of the media as well.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup (13) catches a pass against Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Kelee Ringo (22) in the fourth quarter at AT&T Stadium.

It's certainly not a good look and the Eagles' season could come crashing down if the defense doesn't figure its stuff out. The team's recent two-game losing streak has cost them the division lead, which now belongs to the Cowboys.

While the Eagles have faced off against elite competition over the past month, things are going to ease up for Philly before the end of the season. After this week's Monday Night Football contest against the Seattle Seahawks, the Eagles finish the season with three games against teams not expected to be in the playoffs.

The Eagles, in a sense, have a target on their back being the first team to 10 wins and being a Super Bowl contender ... but they have to return the target towards their opponent.

But once the Eagles get to the playoffs, they have to play physical, otherwise teams will be able to knock the defending NFC champions out of the postseason.
