Atlanta Falcons RB Bijan Robinson Draws Positive 'Report Card' Grade at Halfway Point of Rookie Season

Atlanta Falcons rookie running back Bijan Robinson is among rookies positively analyzed for their production so far in the NFL season.

Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson has drawn rave reviews in his first season of NFL action, and although he is splitting carries with others on the roster, he recently received a positive grade at the midway point of the campaign.

Bleacher Report recently published report card grades for every first round selection in the 2023 NFL Draft. Robinson was selected No. 8 overall by the Falcons, and while he is young, he has already caught the eyes of those around the league.

You can read an excerpt from the piece below.

"Robinson's numbers don't pop off the page with three total touchdowns thus far, but he's shown flashes that showcase his elite athleticism and versatility," Bleacher Report writes. "He just needs the football."

So, it appears that at least one analyst feels that Robinson should get more touches here in his rookie season, and who could blame him? He has shown an early ability to be dynamic in multiple phases of the game, and for an offense that has struggled at times this season (even moving to a new quarterback in Taylor Heinicke), he is a spark and a constant producer in the lineup.

Still, a B+ grade is nothing to hang your head about. It's still early, but it's obvious that Robinson has gained positive traction as a versatile rushing and receiving option in this league. Now, he just has to keep that momentum going.

Robinson and the Falcons visit the Arizona Cardinals this weekend. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. ET.
