Justin Fields Betting Odds Removed; Falcons Making Trade?

With the rumors of a trade increasing, the betting odds regarding Justin Fields' next team have been removed.

With all the buzz surrounding the Chicago Bears taking a quarterback at No. 1 overall in the upcoming NFL Draft, rumors continue to swirl about the future of Justin Fields

As you'd expect, with the Atlanta Falcons having stated their intentions of finding their next franchise quarterback this offseason and Fields being a former Georgia native, Atlanta has been heavily linked as a trade partner for the Bears.

The linkage even spread to Vegas, where the betting odds from DraftKings had the Falcons as the favorite to land the current Bears quarterback at -250. However, those odds have since been removed, which has only fueled the excitement about a potential trade being close.

For the Falcons, Fields would answer their big question mark at quarterback, which has been looming over them since deciding to trade away Matt Ryan. After neither Desmond Ridder nor Taylor Heinicke proved to be long-term options for the Falcons, it seems very likely a move will be made this offseason to find their next starter.

And while Fields never exactly lit the world on fire in Chicago, in what could be his final season with the Bears could have been his best. Fields threw for a career-high 2,562 yards with 16 touchdowns and nine interceptions while completing 61.4 percent of his passes. In addition, Fields rushed for 657 yards and four scores with his legs in 13 games last season.

With a roster that has talented playmakers like Bijan Robinson, Drake London, and Kyle Pitts, not to mention a defense that was much improved last season, the Falcons look like a team just a quarterback away from making the playoffs.
