Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders, son of the iconic Deion Sanders - who happens to be his coach at CU - comes by his confidence naturally. And his numbers back up that confidencd, as he's helped turn around that program while throwing for 2,882 yards, 24 touchdowns and just three interceptions through nine games.

What's next for Deion's kid? The NFL, where according to Shedeur, he will get a chance to establish that he's is the embodiment of a combination of a legendary NFL quarterbacks Tom Brady and Michael Vick.

“I’ll say it’s a mixture," Sanders said of his playing style and talents, "because I’m able to stay in the pocket and deliver the ball. I can play like Brady, but I’m also able to extend plays and if it’s not there, take it like Vick.”

Sanders, speaking in a recent interview with Complex, said he picks and chooses which persona to emulate depending on the circumstances of the game.

"So it just depends," he said. "It’s funny whenever situations in the game occur, they’re like ‘Hey, you gotta be Vick tonight. ... So then that’s when we bring our legs involved.

"So that’s why I feel like I’m special in what I bring to the table. I wanna stay in the pocket, I wanna throw it like Tom, but sometimes those opportunities ain’t there."

Brady, most notably with the New England Patriots and then the Tampa Bay Bucs, is of course the GOAT, a seven-time Super Bowl winner and one of the greatest throwers of the football ever.

Vick, most notably with the Atlanta Falcons but later a success with the Philadelphia Eagles, demonstrated running ability that in some ways changed the way the NFL looks at how to play the position of quarterback.

Sanders is projected as an eventual NFL first-round pick. But if he's ready "Brady Plus Vick"? He won't just be "a first-round pick"; he'll be "the first pick."
