Giants Add Punter Sean Smith to the Practice Squad

The Giants have signed punter Sean Smith to their practice squad.

Smith, 6-foot-4, played his college ball at the University of Dayton. A left-footed punter, Smith will likely help the Giants prepare for Dallas punter Chris Jones, who is a left-footed punter.

Smith was initially signed by the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Dayton in August after attending their rookie mini-camp as a tryout.

At Dayton, Smith was a four-time first-team All-Pioneer Football League selection and set a school record for punting average (45.4 yards) as a senior in 2018.
