Should international pop star Taylor Swift get a ring from a certain Kansas City Chiefs member?

New York Giants tight end Darren Waller doesn't think so.

Before any Swifties who might be reading this get too worked up over Waller's opinion, no, we're not talking about that kind of ring, and no, we're not talking about that particular member (tight end Travis Kelce) of the Super Bowl champions.

Waller, who was completely respectful with his response to the question posed by TMZ Sports if Swift should receive a Super Bowl ring, opined that the precious baubles should be reserved for those who put in the grind behind the scenes of what the world sees on gameday--those who are "really in the trenches."

But he also added that if the Chiefs want to give Swift, who, according to Apex Marketing Group, is responsible for the growth in the Chiefs' female audience and helped to reportedly generate $331.5 million for the NFL's brand, a ring for that, that's their call, saying, "Whatever they want to give her, bro."

The NFL pays for up to 150 Super Bowl rings yearly, the majority going to players, coaches, and football operations support staff members. However, team owners can designate other parties to receive any of the 150 allotted rings.

Those who don't get a ring can also receive specially minted jewelry such as necklace pendants, earrings, and scaled-down rings created specially for friends and family members.

Regardless of what Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt decides, Swift, whom some Chiefs fans viewed as a "good luck charm" given the success the Chiefs had in not only getting to the postseason--she was at all four playoff games--has already etched her name in the 2023 Chiefs' history books despite having never played a down.
