Giants Had Third-best Regular-season Attendance Last Season

Even through a trying season, Giants home games still drew a lot of fans through the MetLife Stadium gates.

There wasn’t much to cheer for in 2023 as a New York Giants fan, certainly not with the team finishing 6-11 on the year four of those wins coming at home.

Despite the Giants' struggles, 1,262,352 fans packed MetLife Stadium to watch games that included Big Blue, some of that million-plus group no doubt fans of the opponent. That attendance figure helped the Giants finish third in regular season attendance, behind the Dallas Cowboys (1.37 million) and New York Jets (1.28 million).

With MetLife Stadium having one of the largest capacities in the NFL, it’s no surprise that the Giants and Jets are near the top of the list. Giants home games are typically sold out every week, though occasionally, a handful of tickets become available once the visiting team takes its share.

Unlike the Jets, who share MetLife Stadium, the Giants require personal seat licenses (PSLs) for every seat in MetLife Stadium, whereas the Jets only require PSLs for the lower bowl and mezzanine levels.

This coming season marks the 100th anniversary of the Giants' founding in 1925, and it's thought that the team will be planning some big marketing campaigns for the paying customers.

Hopefully, those customers will be treated to better results in the coming year.
